With a groin injury.

Per 95.5 the game.

Translation: You made the team, we like what we got out of you. We want to take a look at some other guys.

Um no. They wouldn't keep him out of development games even if he was doing extremely well. And to be fair, he's been good, but not super.

Great, another injury prone big man to go with Greg, LMA, and Joel. KP is an idiot!:drumroll:::ghoti:

Nobody said he was playing super. My definition for him so far is he has played what I call "Solid". Consistent. Every game they have got points, rebounds and defense out of him.

The key to having a good team is to have players that show up and contribute with a consistently good effort from night to night. I have been saying this for 2 years. Portland is screaming for consistent players to go along with Roy and Aldridge. We do not need the score 28 points one night, and score 6 and under 3 nights in a row players. F that. We need guys who score in the teens, get like 6 to 8 boards but never under 6, and who put out a consistent defensive effort from night to night. That is how you go from having a team where it is a crapshoot on whether they win from night to night, to a team where you are most likely going to win on most nights, and if you don't, it shouldn't have turned out that way.

I know, I was simply answering this:

Which is false. They wouldn't keep him out of the SL games if he wasn't really injured.

Good lord, is there anybody left on this summer league roster who can shoot? Glad I'm going out on my buddy's sail boat this evening and won't have to make the choice of whether or not to suffer through what is likely going to be some Fugly hoops

He has no reason to play. He hasn't even signed a contract, and the team has seen what they wanted out of him. I'm hoping this is a mutual decision until he gets inked. I'd hate to see a guy who looks like a solid player get a Patty Mills injury before he's even signed.

There's no reason for him to play because he's injured, but apparently, Nate expects him to be ready to play tomorrow.

There's nothing wrong with playing Dante for 5 games, provided he's healthy.

If I'm his agent, I make sure he's 100%. Either that, or get him signed tonight for a two-year guarantee and then stop worrying about an injury.

He will make the team if he's healthy. Playing without a contract? Not so smart for him at this point.
