I say let him keep the Emmy. Well-deserved after that year long performance.
 
Extremely stupid thing for him to do. I'm not sure if it's so beyond the pale that it deserves impeachment (as Republicans in Albany are talking about), but it certainly should be the end of future political aspirations. His administration's excuse (that they were worried that Trump would distort the real numbers and use them against him) is a terrible one.

When Trump was denying covid was even a problem Nebraska stopped reporting nursing home deaths due to the effect it would have on the large amount of nursing homes business in the state...they have alot of them....it was a request by the GOP to slow down the panic....didn't work....if Cuomo did this he should be held accountable but Trump constantly said our numbers were bad because we were doing too much testing......pick your poison

The original action itself is far worse than both. He sent thousands of COVID patients to nursing homes well after it had been established that the disease primarily affects the elderly. He did this back in March and the liberal media sucked his dick and gave him Emmys and book deals between then and now.
 
Its a very sad event. It shouldn't be to hard to collect evidence of negligent homicide if there was a cover up.

any person with a microphone and a soapbox I say.....comedians have always kept politicians in line....Chelsea Handler however is the lady who went hot and heavy for Cuomo
 
If it’s true boot him out and hold him responsible, put him in jail, do whatever is possible.


See how that works? When was the last time you made a similar remark about your boys in DC who break laws and lie? Were you pro-impeach, remove from office? Did you want trump kicked out?

Just because you agree Cuomo might be a fuck doesn’t mean I have to be pro impeachment. Those are false equivalencies and totally different scenarios. I’ve criticized plenty of politicians on both sides.
 
If this is true Cuomo needs to be held responsible.

So, it's ok to call for democratic politicians to be held responsible but not call out the republican politicians.

Cuomo needs to be made accountable for this. Just as Trump should have been held accountable for his part in inciting the insurrection, just as all other politicians who step out of line should be shown they are not above the law. There are no false equivalencies about it.

I dont remember you criticizing a republican.

Trump flat out should have been impeached and found guilty of the insurrection on Jan 6. Period. Fact. Plain and simple. Some *some* republicans with backbones even agreed. To think cuomo should be kicked out and not Trump is pathetic hypocrisy that is not surprising.

The shit at the capitol isn’t the same as the Cuomo debacle. Not defending either but they are two different things and both need dealt with individually and accordingly. I will throw in the caveat that one of these two things led to thousands of deaths, so take that for what it’s worth also.

Also, saying things like “Period. Fact. Plain and simple, flat out” etc. doesn’t morph your personal opinions into facts. They are still just statements of opinion no matter how strongly you feel about them or whatever “final” sounding language you tie to them.

Because it is all those things and I know it needs to be driven home to some in here. It’s not debatable.

Weird. The fact there were (failed) court hearings that occurred seem to suggest that it was, in fact, debatable.

Im not here to defend Trump for January 6th. I’m here to shit on Cuomo for killing thousands of old people. Funny how thread topics work.

I can’t help you figure out the difference between facts and opinions, that is a job for Merriam Webster.
