What is it going to take to get you to re-new your seats?

A significant price cut? At these prices it's going to be a very tough sell.

Well to be honest, with a lockout probably coming up, I was looking at not renewing because of that, nothing to do with the team. But as is, no lockout, I currently live in the Purple section. Back when I bought the ticket, the Blazer sucked, and $18 a game wasn't too much IMO.

Purple section. I'll be renewing for sure. Probably will just stay where we are, but might move to red or tan, since we have a young daughter, and aer unable to go as often as we'd like, so might as well save a little money. State of the team currently isn't going to get me to not renew though.

Extremely unlikely that I'll renew. This season is my 4th. And likely my last. It's wayyyyy too much of a travel event each game (and getting worse), and wayyyyy too expensive. If we were Championship contenders, or even had our Championship window open, it would be different. But I just can't see myself going through all that encompasses season tickets in order to physically support an average or below average team.

Well than I guess you aren't a professional fan.

Are they ditching the 1% discount per season you have had the tickets?

My seat is the purple section as well.
I will be renewing for as long as I can afford it.

It bumps at certain years and does not exactly follow 1% per year.

I wanna be a stay at home dad who has season tickets :)

You have it pretty sweet there Charcoal.

My wife has been pretty cool about it and understands my need to do something after dealing with the kids everyday. It is very rewarding being able to take an active role most do not choose to, but also need to stay sane in order to be a better parent. Have to do alittle bit of work to keep my total cost of tickets down and rarely sit in my season seats though. Love sports, but also love being able to send my kids to any school they need without worrying about the money.

I'm debating. I have great half season seats that I would hate to give up, but some of the fun and mojo is gone from the games.

Whata a bunch of fairweather bandwagoners!!

As for me, there will be no change in my season ticket status!!

I'm as stable as a rock!! You can't budge me!!
Same-o same-o!!

+1.

Keep jumping ship when the times are tough fellas, it only makes my priority number go up and up. I do agree though thats its not as exciting to go when the team isnt doing well, but I find that Im less involved in the game and more in the atmosphere. We also split season tix with a few people beacuse going to 41 games, even when the team is doing well, is like a job.

The "SECTION 306 FOR LIFE" sig is what I noticed.

I guess he was expecting to be competing for a championship every year of his life.

Yeah, figure of speech much? If I lived anywhere but Portland I'd be Portland For Life. No difference. I've had an amazing 4 years in my section. Have met some really great people, and friends I'll know for a long time. At this point, I feel, I have to put my time and money in to some thing else. And I drink too much when I go to games. Shit is expensive. :)

As long as I'm gainfully employed, I'll have my seats and be there for just about every game.

That's my current gig. Working on getting my 10 month old to bleed the scarlett and black

I'll renew. Even though I rarely use my seats since I spent most of the year in Denver, my friends buy the tickets I don't use and haven't wavered with the latest downturn.

No way I'll give up my seats! I held on to them because of the price and place even though I've had to sell most of the tickets. I'm hoping I'll make my first game the Jazz game.

If I could afford season tickets, I would always have them and go to every game I could. No matter what.

What section are you in? I might want to buy a ticket.

I'm your friend right? :chestbump:

I highly doubt they'll raise prices. After the way the season has gone, how could they? They'd lose a bunch of season ticket holders and the backlash from the fans/media wouldnt be worth it.
