I know I touched on it the other day...

The AL right now...

5 teams with a win% above .500.... Royals at .613, Angels at .574, Yankees at .559, Astros at .552, and Twins at .532... So, 3 or 4 of the 5 are normally basement dwellers...

Tigers & Jays are at .500 meaning 8 teams are below .500

NL has 7 teams above .500 and 8 below...

The AL is really weird though that 5 above and 10 at or below .500

And it'll be different tomorrow....BTW so will the weather. ;)

It is odd, I noticed that not long ago. I'm not sure, but I think the anomaly has something to do with Inter-League play, just my opinion......as I haven't looked the stat up for overall IL play, to see how that measures up, to the 10 below .500

Is this parity, in the process, or something else?????

Looks like, to me, the Tigers better get moving pretty soon because their window of being a playoff team without winning a WS since 1984 "dynasty" is about to slam down on their fingers. :smiley-shrug:

That it does... But I would think you'd more see the NL having 8 or 9 above .500 then
