John Daly is expected to play in a Nationwide Tour event in Arkansas next month on a sponsor’s exemption.
Patricia Brown, executive director of the Fort Smith Classic, said Friday that Daly has committed to play in the June 17-20 tournament, which would be his first Nationwide Tour event since February 1991. Later that year, Daly won the PGA Championship.
