Is e-blazer secretly Quick? Without clicking, I notice that yet again, the topic sounds like a Sunday sermon in church. Same old Quick, projecting his religion through sportswriting.

It's actually a really good read.

No. No. No. No. NO.

Does this article by quick signal a change in the narrative on this forum?

I didn't know that there was an official narrative on this forum. I read an article and thought it was good. Read it or don't; no skin off my backside.

Damn. You caught me, jlprk. I'd have gotten back to you sooner, but I was peeking through the blinds at a Blazers practice.

The part where Dame said he wished that LA would have embraced him and put his arm around him when he was a youngster on the team is very telling. We're so lucky to have Dame.

This is why you don't trade Dame, for all of his faults. He's a leader. He works with the guys around him. We have seen similar stories about him talking with CJ and Harkless. He tries to uplift his teammates. That's a rare quality.

Won't read it. Won't add to the link clicks. Too much bullshit to look past. Just like that one day the bully decides to be nice for the afternoon. Next.

My like or dislike for Quick is content neutral. My past dislike for him is two-fold: (1) his propensity for writing moralistic melodramas that jlprk commented on; and (2) his anti-Blazers pro $amon Stoudamire days. The anti-Blazers days may be over, but his propensity for moralistic melodrama still rubs me the wrong way, even when I might agree with his content. Whatever. Mostly I don't care anymore. At least he's not the bald headed bastard, so he has that going for him.

Haven't seen a picture of quick in a while, eh? :devilwink:

Great article.

I really like Nurk but Dame's leadership is exactly I would have traded CJ for Cousins.

If there has been a more emphatic and dramatic mid-season addition to the Blazers than Nurkic, it is not coming to mind. His deft passing, burly presence inside and delicate shooting touch is bringing back memories of Arvydas Sabonis.

I thought people hate Dame here what's going on now? one minute you hate him, one minute you love him. Forums...

I remember a few people saying "dame doesn't make his team mates better". Well, go ask Nurk about that...

You really need to be more specific. That could be Jaynes, Canzano, HCP or Quick - these days. Too damn many bald headed bastards in the local media. Makes it hard to figure out who to hate.
