In case anyone wants to listen to what he might have to say about Portland.

Prediction: "I'd love to play for Portland, they have the best fans in the league and they are a team on the rise."

OK--here's my notes:
- Likes the city--been here before, but this is first time he's been here when it was sunny
- Said he shot well in the workout, then described various aspects of workout
- Doesn't expect to have scoring responsibility early
- More of a playmaker than people give him credit for
- People ask about the foot injury, but he says he's better/stronger now than he was before the injury
- Hasn't received any promises, but says it would be great if he did
- Enjoying the draft workout process
- Expects to be able to compete and get minutes right away in the NBA
- Would be good in P&R with Aldridge--would feed him down low, but make teams pay if they double him
- Brings length and lateral quickness on the defensive end
- Not as aggressive of a scoring PG as Rose/Westbrook--more like George Hill
- Already hates the Lakers.
- Has heard a lot about the Portland fan-base. Watched the POR-DAL series last year, knows how crazy we are

I'm getting the feeling that this is the guy Portland is really looking at, at #6. If we take him, we'd probably start him right away, according to Olshey's comments. No more stashing our youngin's like Nate used to do.
So who would we get as a FA? PG appears to be the strongest position in this years FA crop, but would we sign a PG to a lucritive contract if we got Lillard?
Perhaps they'll just resign Hickson/Batum and get a middle tear center like Kaman, McGee. We wouldn't be world beaters....but perhaps better than last year? We could save some space and make a lop sided trade.

Brings an NBA team scoring ability and shooting on the perimeter, even playing off ball at the two if needed, but lacks great passing ability and defensive effort to warrant him as a starting point guard. He might get there eventually, but the learning curve and level of competition is a considerable step up, and if he does reach, don’t see him being better than average. Personally feel a lot of the hype he is receiving is based on what Norris Cole had coming into the league with quickness, scoring ability and PG potential coming from a small school. Cole had a good game early in the season on national TV but had an overall subpar rookie season, but the upside is higher for Lillard. Think he’s a good pick in the mid-late first round in 2012, but a reach if he goes in the lottery.
There’s no question Lillard could step in for an NBA team and contribute off the bench right now in the way that Norris Cole does for the Miami Heat. His confident, slick game makes him a player that can bolster a team’s energy level off the bench. Has decent upside as an NBA point guard, but at 21 years of age is already on the older half of prospects relative to his peers. It also means he’s more seasoned, but only up against the mid-major competition of the Big Sky. Performed well against power conference teams as a junior, but nothing that “wows.” If teams are looking at him as a potential starting point guard, they may be mislead by his talents, and as he appears to be a good back up of mediocre starter from what he shows. If he refines his passing play, might have a game that mirrors Ramon Sessions based on the quickness, ability to penetrate and score.
That site rated Nolan Smith quite a bit higher than he should have been

So either Lillard is going to be REALLY bad, even worse than they think, or he'll be great because they know exactly dick.
Basically, the draft is a crap shoot.
It is, which is why I'm all for quantity of picks over "quality". I want two more first round picks. High, low, doesn't matter. One will be a gem, one will be a bust... more scratch-its, please!
