Craig Sager comes over to interview you in his fly purple suit and you’re so nervous you can barely talk. You’re going to say “help the team” like 100 times in 30 seconds. Say something else, Dame. Anything.
I know, right?Every time he referred to himself as "Dame"....... it just didn't sit well with me.
Great article. I wonder who wrote it for him?

When did Jabba the Hutt start working for CSN?

Looks like an infomercial for dermasanding.
Good read. Thanks for posting. I remember the bitching too, Nate. I knew where he was coming from though. Isiah was prepping him to be a star PG that closes games. Then, in Portland, Dunleavy played Greg Anthony in 4th quarters. Timing was off, I guess, but other stats would've complained. I can't imagine any of the great PGs would've been happy not playing in the 4th.
Besides Damon, I didn't think there was anyone else who thought he was a great PG. Talent wise, I never thought he was an average starter let alone great. Terrible D, couldn't make an entry pass or finish... his lone positive was being a decent option at the end of the 24 second clock.I can't imagine any of the great PGs would've been happy not playing in the 4th.
Lumped? The main reason he isn't thought of as the face of the Jail Blazer era is that Quick always had his back in return for regularly throwing everyone else under the bus. JQ's praise was so effusive & loving, many posters in this community were convinced they were dating. I can't think of any player whose off court time while a Trailblazer was as much of a PR train wreck. Just a selfish, low IQ, jerk off.Article said:People will start calling the team the Jail Blazers, and you’re going to be lumped in with it.
