I watched Dane's HBO Special. He has negatives and positives. He connects with fans and really appeciates them. This is what I like most about him. He keeps his MySpace active and interacts with fans there, he's really good about it...and during his concerts is always running around high fiving people..etc..It shows you it has not all gone to his head. He has amazing stage presence. Standup comedy is so much harder than it looks and he makes it look really easy...when he's on stage he's commanding and solid. In the DVD he was there with a packed football stadium, huge venue. The only problem I have with him, is sometimes his bits go on too long, I was bored in a few of them, he makes solid observations. His bit on the atheist/sneeze was really great...the best of the whole show, he had that stadium going crazy, I won't give it away, classic. Dane Cook has helped bring stand up comedy back, he's the big superstar right now and I'm glad he's been such a huge success.
