expect the leaks to begin in the next 8 to 24 hours. :devilwink:

Since he fired his agent when asked, he already meets the Yes Man prerequisite. Here come the titles!

I still say he walks once the issue of control is brought up. If he doesn't, we're probably paying him $3MM a year.

Yes Man can work both ways.

PA: Danny...whatever you do, get some people in here that will put the team in the best possible position to win a title before I die.
DF: Yes, sir.
(Commence trading late draft picks for all-stars)

If only Kevin Pritchard had thought of that. :)

Not only did Ferry fire Pritchard's agent, he then went and signed with Nate's agent, Lonnie Cooper. I find it interesting that reports of Vulcan interviewing candidates came out after June 4 and Ferry resigned from the Cavs a day or two afterwards. I wonder if Ferry knew at that time that when his contract was up with the Cavs that he would be hired by the Blazers. Anyway, I think it's a done deal since agents play such a huge part in this process.

I also find it interesting that if in fact Ferry does become GM, that he will have had the same agent as both his coaches did.

I agree that firing a agent is a big deal and I don't think Ferry does it unless he figures (knows) that is the only thing holding him back from the job. Ferry to Ptd is sounding like a done deal, IMO.

Or not.

Canzano just said he's hearing that Ferry turned the job down.

Marcus Camby met him at the airport and the fool turned around and flew right back to Cleveland!

Hope Ken Berger knows more the Brian Berger!
