For the love of god, unbevel that text. The font might be ok, but the bevel ruins it.The pic of culpepper is kinda low quality, id try to go filter -> gaussian blur (2.0 pixels) and then edit -> fade gaussian blur (set to soft light)On your backgrounds, try to learn to rely less on pure brushing and more on the other abilities of photoshop.
