I wouldn't be surprised if this happens on both sides, but it seems bizarre.

Ah, the usual "Both sides are equally bad" defense. I can't tell a dead Republican from a living one. Republicans make a big issue about dead people's voter ID, but see nothing wrong with taking money from their cold bony fingers.
