With the obvious shenanigans in LA after letting Lebron play GM and now the implosion of the Nets, it makes me wonder if the super teams are starting to fade out.
Organically built teams are prospering. And dare I say it, but defense is looking like it’s coming back with the new wave of young coaches.
I see ownerships backing off from buying into the idea of super teams.
Look at baseball where the Yankees haven’t won a World Series in 14 years, despite having kind of their selection of whoever they want.
