“Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2” has already earned $25 million domestically - and the film hasn't even opened yet.
At the rate it’s going, the final installment of the franchise could break records.
According to Warner Bros., the majority of pre-ordered tickets are for midnight screenings, which means the film could take the title of most successful midnight opening away from “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse.”
“Eclipse” racked up $30 million in ticket sales when it debuted at midnight in June 2010.
