Source: Dee Bost (from Mississippi St. & overseas point guard standout) will be joining Portland in training camp. Potential 3rd string PG.

Apparently he played for our Summer League team a year or so ago. Anyone remember?

He was on our SL team last year:

The rare 6 point possession. I wonder whatever happened to the ball crusher.

He seemed okay when he played for us. I don't remember him being exceptionally great or bad at anything. He could be a cheap third stringer I suppose.

Dee Bost was the man at Mississippi State, but I don't know where Bost would fit on this Blazers roster, with Lillard and McCollum. He plays too similarly to both players, and once you add Earl Watson to the depth chart, that seems like the KO for Bost's chances.

Statistics aside, from watching him play in college, he's one of those guys that needs the ball in his hands to be effective, so he's really trying out for the wrong team.

If I were the Blazers, I would be hitting up fellow Mississippi State alumnus Lawrence Roberts instead... that guy owns the glass.

Brother that was a 7 point possession. The kid hit a 3. Now that is rare. I've reffed a lot of games (100's) and have seen 1 6 point play but never a 7.

At least we know he's tough:

The average American wouldn't even know who Dee Bost was, let alone find a VERY rare 7 point play where he gets cracked in the nuts. Repp'd.

I don't think he makes the roster. Watson is a far better defender and we need a veteran behind Dame and CJ.

I hereby duke de Earl for de job. De Bust won't git it.

The Blazers have 15 players on the roster right now. I'm not saying this is you, but Harris will be waived, and there is no way Olshey is going to carry a 15th player after 10/31/13, when Harris' contract is guaranteed for next year.

At some point, the Imaginary GM's of S2 need to understand that you are only allowed 15 spots on a roster, and that the Blazers as of right now have only one more open spot.

The veteran I was referring to WAS Watson...

Got it. Watson is guaranteed for next year. Bost, unless he becomes Chris Paul, won't make it onto the roster.

You've said it 3 times. I know this was your major discovery of the week, so calm down and go to bed and rest for your next big one.
