bayless Rudy 1st for Monta?
i love bayless, but i see him as an Ellis type. Ellis is only 1-2 years older than him and already at a high level..martell moves over to the backup 2.

I would also not give up Rudy. I think we can make a package around Bayless/Webster/1st and then take back some of their salary (since we won't have to match)... We can also get another 1st with our TE and seconds and use that as bait as well, or use the TE to get Turiaf? IDK... and with all the things goin' on in GS between Ellis and the management, I think we could do it, and we would have the best backcourt in the NBA from Day 1 of the Roy/Ellis/Aldridge/Oden dynasty!

Actually, in a couple years probably the best backcourt, and the best front court (Aldridge, Oden maybe?)... nice...

Edit *Obviously this is just my view of Ellis, and how we could get him and how he would perform on our team and what we need at the PG spot next to Roy. I believe we vary greatly on this, but I really think Ellis would be similar, if not near extremely similar to Devin Harris in NJ (as he has been playing less D and becoming more and more of a scoring PG) but like 3 years younger. I think Ellis is not only one of the best options we can get at PG, but definitley one of the most realistic along with maybe Ramon Sessions. But I also understand the arguement against Ellis on our team. But if its for character, rest assured that even though he had a moped accident (lol) he is a very, very good kid.*

I'm fully on the Patrick Mills bandwagon.

Also, DJ Augustin would fit in great with Brandon Roy. He may only be 5'11" but he can run a team and score in bunches.

I like Mills as well, but is he coming out this year? I'm also worried about his size.

Mills reminds me of what Eddie House was like in college. A 5'10" shooting guard in a point guards body. He might handle point guard capabilities, but his main focus is his own offense not the teams offense. I wouldn't be opposed to Mills if it were later in the draft and we were using that pick to upgrade our bench. But Mills is no starter in the NBA.
