Yang: Had an ok debate. It was telling, though, when that stupid-ass question about gifts and forgiveness was asked at the end, he was stumped. Could not get a word to come out of his mouth. It was a stupid-ass question (did I mention that?) but you've got to think faster than that.

Steyer: His best debate so far. I still don't think he belongs on stage, but he's getting better and made some good points. I don't buy his case for his candidacy though.

Pete: Was mostly on defense but handled himself ok. He is smart and was prepared. Nevertheless some blood was drawn on both wine caves and lack of experience.

Amy: I'm a Pete fan and I'm a guy, so I wonder if I'm being fair, but I didn't like the way she attacked Pete. Not simply that she attacked him, that was expected and made sense strategically, but to me she came off more mean than sharp. Like I say, this may be my sexism talking. But overall, Amy had a great debate.

Warren: She also attacked Pete, but did so in a way that didn't make me like her less. Generally a pretty quiet debate, didn't hurt herself but I'm not sure it was much help.

Bernie: Bernie was Bernie. It would be surprising if his performance was surprising. It wasn't surprising.

Biden: Definitely his best debate so far. Had some strong answers, no stories about random irrelevant things. Picked one pointless fight with Bernie but otherwise stayed out of the punching.

Be very interesting to see how this changes the polls, if at all.

And yes, HURR DURR THEY ARE ALL BETTER THAT tRUMP

Barfo is just trolling Yang supporters with that part, Yang did really well because he had a chance to speak this time. Other than that Barfos take was pretty spot on. Even the Amy part, her schtick is to attack one person aggressively, then spend the rest of the time talking about how everyone is fighting and we all need to focus on the issues. Pete got beat up on some, Biden looked surprisingly good, and Steyer also was decent. PBS ran a good event.

I was just using your comment as an opportunity to bash Trump. Aren't debates kind of ho hum? There's a few zingers and everyone claims their candidate won. I don't know anyone who changes their mind based on a debate.

Biden has a stutter. Apparently it was much worse when he was a kid, but I think it's actually common for stutters to come out more when talking about them. I don't believe he was mocking at all.

There were certainly people who changed their minds after the Kennedy-Nixon debates.
There were also people who switched sides following the Carter-Ford debate when Ford declared that Poland was not Communist.

I don't watch porn. I only want to care about my wife as a lover. I have no sexual interest in other women. Now, if I were single, I might feel different although I wonder how healthy it is.
 
I though Biden & Amy did tad better than the others tonight. God help us if Sanders gets the nomination.
I think Joe and Amy are the most likely to beat Trump of course I could be wrong?

I agree that Joe was solid tonight and didn’t hurt himself.
I’m glad Yang is there as he does bring some good analysis and isn’t eager to jump on anyone’s bandwagon. We need more thinking like his, in Government.
EW I still cannot embrace her nervous flighty, only one way approach. She needs to relax a bit and have a message for independents and moderate conservatives to buy into. She doesn’t seem interested, like Bernie doesn’t.
Pete and Amy at least want to make room for the independents and mods that would entertain crossing the bridge.
Amy was good and she is zeroing In on her mid west Segment and liked her comment about building a bridge for those republicans moderates.
I think Joe & Amy would have the best shot at beating trump. Just my independent moderate been both dem and repub in the past, undecided opinion.
