They vary with the time of year. We generally get about 30,000 unique visitors a month, though.

Just spitballing here, but I'd say a great business model is to have a moderator set up a thread for two 10k+ posters to argue in OT, and then have another moderator ban them for actually arguing in that thread that was literally set up for those two posters.

That's a hell of a way to treat your volume posters. Great business model!

I don't know anything about their boards, but owning a board is often just writing checks for hosting. I don't blame someone for wanting to merge with someone else to share expenses and hope that economies of scale kick in.

brainiac has his moments, but he's also often caustic and a 'sheep' about things (ie, closed minded).

The board really doesn't have any funny people. ABM can be very funny. Sly is also a clever person. I'd say those two are funnier than brainiac. But sly will let this go to his head so don't let him see it.
