I've been checking out the comments section in the Denver Post and the Nugz fans are pretty jacked up about their team. Here is an interesting tidbit that was posted...

Keep the train rolling – Felton, Matthews, Wallace, Aldridge, Camby – not exactly intimidating. Only exciting thing about tomorrow night will be drinking every time Camby takes one his giraffe shots hahahahahaha (flailing to the ground on his drives trying to get a foul are almost as hilarious).

Hopefully we can shut their pie-holes tonight! GO BLAZERS!

That's funny

Because their starting unit isn't exactly intimidating

Nothing wrong with them being high on their team -- it's just a different flavor of Kool-Aid. I am a bit surprised about the line regarding Camby's drives to the hoop, though... Does he flail a lot? Have I just been missing it because of my rose-tinted glasses?

P.S. That said, his shooting form is definitely (ahem) "unique". ;)

I believe this calls for lock down defense from the Blazers. Let's see how intimidating our guys can get, I think they have a nice little mean streak starting to show.

I think the "giraffe shot" is a direct reference to what can only be described as his "catapult" shot ... or maybe it's more like a trebuchet?

Yeah, I totally understand the line about his shot -- it blows my mind every time that thing goes in! I just didn't understand the part about him "flailing to the ground on his drives trying to get a foul". How often does Camby drive at all, let alone while flailing to the ground?

I'm excited about the game because both teams are fun as hell to watch. I expect the Blazers to win, but I can totally jive with the Nugs enthusiasm and believe they are close enough in talent that they should be backing their team.

I think Camby used to actually do this thing where he would handle the ball and go towards the hoop.

I don't think it's absurd for either fan base to think their team will win tonight. If Portland is better than Denver, that could be evened out since they are at home?

I thought this was in Denver. Never mind. Portland should win by double digits

Lol. You always talk about how McMillan sucks...this, that and the other. Yet, we should win every game by 10+

Your gimmick has some flaws, indeed.

I'm not a Nuggets fan, but if I was betting, I'd bet on Denver. They've been playing amazingly, and Dre should be on a mission.

Blazer fans think the Trail Blazers can beat any team on any given night. That's what being a fan is all about!

tlong - I had the avatar first. Them titties are mine! Get your own pair of rip city boobs!

That's funny I thought they were HCP's!

There is nothing like trash talking and being confident about your team. Unless you are being pompous about it. Hey Denver is pretty scary, so are the Blazers. I guess we'll see who wins tonight.

Well, I suppose we may look about as intimidating as the 2008 Charlotte Bobcats

PG: Felton
SG: Diaw
SF: Wallace
PF Radmonovich
C: Okafor

Only clear advantage is Aldridge >>> Radmonivich

But I'd be suprised if Denver ended up making the playoffs....

Diaw is not a SG and Jason Richardson started for them.

Did he play PF? I know Diaw can play any position...but I can see why teams don't think we look that scary on paper.

Nate is actually pushing the pace this season. Our talent is better than Denver's IMO. How is any of that a gimmick? Oh, and we won by 9. People say I have an agenda, and whatnot, but I think it's you that has the fucking agenda. Drop it already.

He made a resolution to be positive this season, or was that just nik?

I think Denver is very solid and will definitley make the playoffs. I also think Philly is much better than some suggested.

I thnik Blazers beat them because Denver was on the second of a back to back and Ptd was at home.

Denver is a good team. I see why they traded Felton and why Felton spoke so highly of Lawson before the game. I was not a Lawson believer, but now think he takes that team up a level from an already talented group.
