Although the NBA's current collective bargaining agreement expires in nearly two months -- July 1, to be exact -- Nets point guard Deron Williams is already considering taking his talents abroad.

"I'm already looking into playing overseas," said Williams, who was in Santa Monica, Calif., Tuesday taking part in an event featuring his favorite video game series, Call of Duty. "I haven't looked anywhere in general; I'm just looking into the possibility of playing over there. But I'm not going to make a decision until after the CBA."

Wow why overseas? I don't get it. If he doesn't want to play in NJ, then ask to be traded. I'm sure any other team in the league would be more than willing to give back plenty of good pieces for him. Seems really odd.

Maybe he mentioned overseas in the event of a lock out.

He probably wants to go to LA with Dwight Howard.

I agree , especially since that division is wide open all of a sudden IMO . Lets face it , Boston is old and does not scare anybody anymore , Toronto is crap and the 6ers though young and talented are not scary either . I think Jersey has some very talented pieces and now a good coach , they can do well next season if they get it together ...
