Ha! the only two I purchased were right in that time slot. Bought one in late 98 and used it to do the cad work on MarAzul. It was totally inadequate to do the 3D display of the design so I bought another early 2002. It wasn't a heck of a lot better, so when I tried to up grade the stuff in it to a satisfactory level, I found the mobo would not support the stuff I needed. Digging a little deep I found that many manufactures, Dell, IBM, Gateway and more kind of make it difficult add in standard stuff on the market.

Decided to built my own and then I had a machine that would do the stuff I needed. Built a whole lot more since then for people that have specific needs. Kind of fun to build them for kids too. I did a couple for some kids I don't think were going to get one any other way.

I don't even think about buying one now.
