I'm wondering what happened that caused us to adjust away from attacking Steve Nash. The announcers were making the "switch Grant Hill onto Miller" move look like it was the move that Kasparov used to beat Big Blue. Uh, Steve Nash is still on the floor, and therefore still "guarding" someone. Why wasn't Rudy's number called in the first few minutes? When it came to pass that we all realized Rudy was not having an "on" night, why wasn't Bayless or Webster called in to replace him? When Webster came in for Nic's two fouls, why wasn't some running-through-screens-all-night action with Webster and Rudy switching off happening, with either LMA or Camby facilitating from the high post? I get that Miller was bottled up. I get that they were doubling LMA. It's not that tough to see that if someone's doubled, someone else is open. But I don't get paid for this.
(WTH is up with Camby missing 4 chippies in 2 nights?)
It's too bad Nic got hurt. I'm hopeful, yet pessimistic. "Not being able to raise your arm" isn't good. If for some reason he can come back, Miller/(Bayless or Webster)/Batum should start, and put pressure on Nash from the jump. Get either him or his bigs in foul trouble, b/c Nash can't guard Miller, Webster, Bayless OR Batum, but can guard Rudy if he's not shooting anything.
And how do you have a team in the penalty with 6 minutes left in the first, and shoot only 5 FTs the rest of the way? We went LMA jumper, Camby blown layup, LMA jumper, layup, layup (

!), Bayless jumper, Miller jumper, Webster jumper, Howard jumper, Camby jumper. And we're still only down 6!
Loved the Mills/Diener backcourt at the end.
