It's becoming an all-too-familiar theme for the Tulsa Shock this season.

A solid first half performance is nullified by a horrendous third period showing.

At least this time, the Shock made its own run after falling behind 67-51, scoring six straight points to close the gap to 10 before eventually dropping its fifth straight, this one by a 92-78 final.

A BOK Center crowd of 5,013 saw the Lynx open the second half on a 20-11 run to pull away to a 67-51 advantage.

"They just came out with more energy and fight than us," said Shock guard Alexis Hornbuckle of the third period. "We dug ourselves a hole. We're still trying to get rotations together. We just added three new players. I'm not making excuses. We're still in a learning process. Yes, we're professionals and we're basketball players, but chemistry is the most important thing.
