I think we were all hoping for better than 2-2. 4 teams under .500, and we go 2-2. The loss tonight was rediculous. 16-31 from the line? That was a bad Charlotte team - we were just worse tonight. Fugly.

I'm pissed. I understand ONE stinker (the Philly game) But to play 2 out of 4 games that poorly just sucks. Tonight feels like the Orlando and Clipper Home games that we totally gave away.

These types of losses just come back to haunt you down the stretch.

I guess the Bayless coming out party is a bright spot. Other than that - dreadful trip.

They played their age tonight ... or at least they looked their age tonight.

Very frustrating to beat yourself at the foul line.

Free throws.....

Make them.....

Bayless didn't even get a shot from the 4th quarter to overtime. That's just stupid, and it was a result of Brandon's one on five.

I thought 1-3 because we aren't as good as people think we are. For me it was a good road trip.

With the fear I will once again be chastised for saying our ever efficient offense sucks, something needs to be done about the lack of movement. Too much Brandon one on one in every game.

I've been gushing over Roy all year - I admit. He was awful tonight. 3-10 FT? It's such a catch-22 with him. He normally bails us out and gets us through close games. But when his shots aren't going down (especially when he's bricking FT's all night) nobody else knows what to do.

Our "Plan B" is Travis Outlaw. And tonight he looked like he had his sneakers on the wrong feet. How does that guy look fluid and in control one night (Chicago) and look like he can barely walk and chew gum on others? Everytime he touched the ball in the 4th quarter and OT I thought he was going to get called for traveling. His feet were all over the place. Get him outta here.

This is by far a disappointing road trip. If we want to be a winning team you can't continually lose to a bad team like Charlotte. They swept us last year. I had no problem with the Philly loss as those games happen. However to see the kind of game we played tonight was horrid. If we can't get more consistent than this we will not even sniff the playoffs. This was not a difficult four games.

Blaming free throws for this loss is a cop out. The defense was miserable and we still don't have enough firepower in the starting lineup to be a legitimate playoff contender.

i think aldridge is plan B. but i'm not sure if he is. he sure as hell should be though

I felt we passed the ball poorly (and not enough) tonight. Fourteen assists is too few. It led to poor shots.

The whole game was one big cluster fuck. We really didn't do ANYTHING well tonight.
LA, Bayless, and Rudy were really the only 3 I thought played up to their abilities.

Aldridge was 9-15, it pained me to see Nate go to Outlaw and Roy (Because he was missing) instead of Aldridge.

Quiet!!! Our offense is the best in the league. Ask anyone who only looks at the numbers.

I'm pretty pleased with the last 2 games, as Nate has tried some new stuff and learned more about some players who can help us.

Now if he'd just stop overplaying Roy and let these guys use their speed, we'll keep improving.

Bake it!:ghoti:

He played 45 mins, so what did you expect?

He's pretty one-dimensional, not a guy who sees the entire court, he just sees half of it.

But even in the halfcourt it seems only our bench guys (and LaMarcus) move without the ball.

Sergio doesn't move without the ball I guess.:dunno:

Disappointing end to the trip, but in the grand scheme, a 2-2 road trip isn't too bad. They just gotta put this loss behind them and get ready for some solid teams coming to the Garden.

I wanted 3-1 but 2-2 wasn't so bad. The two teams we lost to are better than their record. The Sixers are beating everyone and the Bobcats are on the rise as well, having won 5 of their last 7 games.

A lot of good happened on this trip. Oden, Outlaw, and Blake's big games in Chicago. Bayless' big night in New Jersey. I'll take the 2-2, especially if we can bounce back with three straight wins at home (I'll take 2-1 but no less!)

Inexperienced, young teams often play up and down to their competition. We have seen that multiple times this season. They are still learning. I do agree that there is no excuse for missing your free throws though. This was a game we should have won.

I agree, sure losing to the Bobcats was a letdown but seriously with Sergio being starting PG and Bayless at backup it was time for these to test out their abilities. Not to mention that Rudy is playing with a hurt foot, Joels hand in a split/bundled up and ROY with his hamstring on his mind the team is trying its best to compensate with teammates down or off sink. The home court should make the team feel better as they will let this 2-2 road trip behind them.

That's a great point. I forget about Joel's wrist. And Rudy had to rush back cuz we were so thin. ANd what about Roy's finger? We're really injured and still hangin in there.

Yeah this road trip could've/should've been better but, of course, it could've been worse too. 2-2 isn't the end of the world and this Charlotte team isn't that bad . . . in fact, we faced them when they've been playing very good basketball as of late. Wallace is a stud as we can all agree on. Okafor is good. Felton has been playing well. They have Augustine who didn't play tonight but has played well. Bell's a solid player as well. This team isn't THAT bad; we still should've beat them and would most any other night our star player doesn't go 3-10 for the FT and can't hit his trademark pull-up jumper . . . or finish at the hoop like he normally does.

If we want to play the excuse game the Bobcats were without DJ Augustin and didn't have a full compliment of players since they made a trade earlier in the week.

The bottom line is that our defense was exposed and as usual we play way too much one-on-one basketball.

I was afraid of the Philly and Charlotte games before Blake went down. Last year we showed mental weakness in those cities. That should have prepared the team for this go around but I guess not.

I think you're wrong. I think we have more than enough firepower. I think we are misusing it.
