Hunwick should never be starting. That is for starters. I have wanted King on the Kings for a while. Kings are floundering. King has had a poor offensive season. Sather really needs to pull his head out of his ass and be aggressive going after a player like this. I see no reason why an offer similar to Stempniak, Allen and a decent prospect can't get King. Sather has failed to get a player like this every season.

Brooks thinks a physical top-nine forward will be acquired, and I think so as well (at least a legit top-nine forward will be added IMO).

Either as a 6th dman OR a top-nine forward we need to acquire some size. I totally agree that is what's needed to be a complete team.

King having a bad offensive season is a blessing for Sather if he removes his head from his ass and can acquire him. He had 15 goals last season. If he had a 20 goal season this year at 235 lbs, he would never be able to acquire him.

I'd love to see a player like that added. NO DOUBT to me this team needs a forward with some size to complete the top 9 AND give us depth to move Stemp to the 4th line where he belongs. We cannot win a cup without adding another big top 9 forward IMO.

I think Sather knows that though. I believe we are 100% in full win now mode (this year and the next 2) and Sather will add pieces to this team. I fully believe that.

Jets are playing great. They won't move Ladd. King can be had. Sather needs to get on that.
