Don't trade for Paul George, HE WON'T RESIGN HERE!
Don't trade for Porzingis, HIS KNEES ARE SHOT!
Don't trade for Cousins, HE'S A HEADACHE!
Don't trade for Davis, HE'S GOT A BIG UNIBROW!

Don't trade for anybody, let's stay mediocre, we have the fantastic core of Lillard, McCollum and Nurkic who got swept by the same team who is going to rebuild soon because they weren't good enough.

We are a disgrace of a franchise, relocation is the only solution.

Sell your tickets cheap?

Here we go again. Different day, same story....

So anyhow.

How about them Rams huh?

Who takes the superbowl? The over 40 or the under 25?

Fuck off

I'm not sure what you expected us to do here. I love KP, but with his injury history and upcoming UFA status, it's a massive risk to take on. And not worth what it would have taken to get him.

Don't ever risk, we good being mediocre.

Do you guys realize there's always an excuse for not making a deal? and we always found ourselves in basketball purgatory.

It's not like we are making conference finals and then we're afraid of making moves, we ain't even sniffing the second round of the playoffs!!!!!

So you would have essentially traded CJ for a KP who is still not recovered from his ACL and has proclaimed to become a UFA next year?

Bitch all you want, but this is just stupid

PG whined and whined about going to LA. Dealt to OKC and ended up staying.

I'm just saying. These are the types of risks that Olshey will never make.

Again. Would you have traded CJ to get the expiring contracts necessary to get Porzingis? This guy has yet to practice and it's been a year since his injury. This kind of move would have taken us out of HCA this season and left a big question mark for all of next year-- it's not even a question of risk.

Yes

Change for change sake just to make changes because it seems we are in purgatory is just ridiculous.

Patience and persistence and the right player will become available that will be the missing pc. But just to do things, so there is a change???????????????

Yeah, lets just relocate. Thats the only answer... LMAO. Cause all fans want to root for a hometown team that has moved to another city.

Call up Seattle and ask how many of them root for the Thunder.

Relocation.....

WTF are some people smoking?

Can we ban this dude yet? Worst posts on this forum.

Except the relocation part. Exact same teams except Blazers already in Vegas AND Lebron getting old....Davis wants to come play with Dame.

They're building some more hilltop mansions right above my house. Easy airport access too. I am sure I'll have a few Raiders living near me soon.

I think it's frustrating but the 2016 thing did, in fact, put the Blazers in a tight spot to make a lot of moves. Signed a lot of guys long terms on bigger contracts than they probably should have gotten. I don't think the KP move was a realistic move. I think PG13 might have been, Butler seems to be basically a jerk I'm not sure they should've given away anything of value to go after him. AD would be great, but I don't know if they really have a shot at him unless NO loves CJ and values him highly.
I think NO deserves a lot of the heat he gets and I would love to see the Blazers look like they're being aggressive to try to win while Dame is still in his prime. However, I don't think KP was realistic since NY wanted cap space.
I'm more and more of the opinion that the Blazers only move this year will be salary cap related. This summer if they get wrecked in the playoffs again they will probably fire Stotts. Then summer with all those expiring they may be able to make a "splash" type move next year about this time, but we'll see.

Maybe I'm settling, but I don't know how realistic it is to expect them to make splashy moves right now. Unless you're willing to let go of CJ, Zach, probably other young players and picks and I don't know if that nets you a guy like Blake, and I'd be even more surprised if that gets you AD.

We'll see but can't get too upset about things not happening when realistically we've known since 2016 that they put themselves in a corner.
