am i missing anyone? dont we need 8?

Hopefully the coaches have seen this stat and use Howard and Pendergraph to control the boards if LA is out and prevent fast breaks. Cunningham might be our savior for throwing down 12-16 footers. I hope Nate uses Bayless to attack the basket, while kicking out passes to Webster to throw down three's.Golden State (9-22) averages a league-best 23.6 fast-break points, while Portland averages a league-worst 7.5 points in that category.
We will win. Pendergraph had 8 pts & 14 rebs through 3 quarters vs the Clips. Don't know why we didn't play him in the 4th. If we give him the go for 4 quarters tomorrow, I expect about 15 & 13 out of him. If we can bring in Mills, we'll win easy. If Mills can't play, Dre & Bayless can hold down the fort and get us a W. I'm not worried at all.
McMillan insists that he will go with whatever late-game lineup is productive down the stretch and will "ride the hot hand" when necessary. But he's big on consistency and developing clearly defined roles, and he's clearly developing a trust with the Roy-Blake-Bayless trio.
"That has worked for us, meaning we've been able to score and defend," McMillan said. "I like whoever can finish. I don't want to be rolling the dice with players down the stretch....
"You want to be consistent with who is finishing the game, so that these guys build a rhythm, a chemistry (with) set-calling and plays (and they) become familiar with situations and hopefully become consistent with what they do."
We didn't play him in the 4th because:
I know the article was about Miller, but it answered for me the very same question you had...why wasn't JP in just a little in the last 6 minutes?

Also the unit that was in the game was doing well and keeping the lead and possibly putting in Pendergraph for Cunningham could have disrupted the flow the unit had. If we had last the lead then maybe he would have inserted Pendergraph.
But the truth is that we were playing great with JP and Nate chose to disrupt THAT flow and not come back to it. Nate robbed JP of his first career 20 rebound game. But we won so I guess it's okay.
speaking of nates suiting up, how about that lil fella from the Knicks - first time on the floor in like 14 games and drops 41 on the hawks to lead them to the win.

LOL. Robbed him of a 20 rebound game to try to ensure the win? Damn that Nate McMillan, alsway putting team success over individual statistical achievment.
