do you? i kind of want to just to improve my writing and thoughts.

thinking of some formats

I do... but it just pertains to running. http://marathontoathens.blogspot.com/ I realized my wife and pretty much everyone else I know doesn't really want to hear anything about running... so I use it as a place to vent where I don't have to waste anyone's time.

You can create blogs for free at many sites. I use https://www.blogger.com/start but again... many others out there.

I've done a few through blogger. I'm hestitating doing one on my personal site since I have business contacts see that...and others I don't want to see my writing.

Yes, I do, but I write for a living too (books, columns, etc.) The blog is great for SEO, for creating a more informal business connection, marketing, etc.

Wordpress is the best blogging platform.

Thanks, I assume you mean the wife's software program, and not the blog (which is pretty forgettable if you aren't into making cookbooks).

She's sitting next to me right now, programming. I'll let her know you are impressed.

tell her that lemon meringue pie looks delicious.

Guhhhhh. I want.

My favorite part of the blog is the stupid little random quote generator on the right. There aren't many, but some of them are awesome. The three best:
Who bothers to cook TV dinners? I suck them frozen. — Woody Allen
Women can spin very well, but they cannot write a good book of cookery. — Dr Samuel Johnson, The Life of Samuel Johnson by James Boswell (1791)
Central heating, French rubber goods and cookbooks are three amazing proofs of man’s ingenuity in transforming necessity into art, and, of these, cookbooks are perhaps most lastingly delightful. — M.F.K. Fisher (1908-1992) Serve It Forth (1937

this is for a personal site. I have a gmail account makes things easier.....we'll see though...i don't want to pay to host anything for this blog, I'm just doing domain masking. i like being to easily blog from the web.....

might try out wordpress though....we'll see. Its not for any purpose for me to practice some writing.

Personally, I think when something is so misspelled, on purpose of course, it still looks bad and reflects bad on you. I vote no on that domain name.

The intent is a scathing look at American culture, where I comment on things that make america suck.

http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Amurrica

1. The real pronunciation of the word America. Used to convey a dissatisfaction or disapproval of America. This pronunciation comes from the practice of pronouncing there, thurr, and here, hurr as is done in many urban highschools around the nation.
Y'all need to get out of Amurrica.
George W. Bush is the President of Amurrica.
Amurrica is the only reason you're alive.
(Sarcasm) Yeah, god bless Amurrica.

I'd steer clear of any name you have to slowly spell out (often repeatedly) to communicate. It'll get really annoying for you.

Whatever name you pick, imagine mumbling it to a friend in a crowded elevator. If you're pretty sure you can say the name once and he'll know how to spell it, it's a good choice.

How about SuckingAmerica.com ? It's available.

Also UsaBlows.com.
