i.e. Columbus Day aka Indigenous Persons day.

Don't get the day off.

Could care less.

Even if they gave me the day off, I really could care less.

4th of July/Memorial Day/Labor Day, who gives a shit.

I'm down with Christmas, Thanksgiving, sometimes Easter.

Must live a pretty privileged life to not care about Columbus Day.

You must hang out with an awful lot of honkies.

Columbus sailed the Ocean Blue in 14 hundred and 92.

I think the Pina, the Nina and Santa Maria are at some museum in Madrid, gotta peep that some time.

How did you know about Columbus Day? I never heard about it until Trump invented the holiday.

I celebrate 4th of July as a day of gratitude to the founding fathers and their wives for creating such a fantastic opportunity for me to live a life of freedom, and to all Americans before me who refused to relinquish those rights of freedom.. Such an incredible gift from so many strangers.

Since I don't believe in mythical super-beings, any other holidays I celebrate are mostly just celebrating my good fortune of family and friends.

As a child and young adult Halloween was always the funnest holiday, a true uniting of the entire community in a celebration of whimsy and nonsense, but that has since been completely ruined forever by the PC crowd.

Christmas and Thanksgiving are all about food, family, and more food, for me. Christmas has the added touch of so much great music with positive themes filling the air everywhere you go. Always enjoyable spending time with loved ones, playing games and sharing stories...

Memorial Day and Labor Day are simply Summer's bookends, and 2 good times to have a backyard BBQ rather than fight the hordes at the campgrounds or lakes.

Easter Egg dyeing and hunts are fun if/when you have kids or grandkids.

Valentine's Day is a convenient time to show your loved one a good time, and vice versa.

April Fool's Day is good for a laugh.

President's Day, MLK Day, Veteran's Day, Columbus Day, Earth Day, Patriot's Day, St Patrick's day... are unfortunate although mostly well-intentioned. I don't believe any one person or selective subgroup of Americans has done or could ever do anything monumental enough to warrant an entire day named after them, so these days are like any other day (another awesome day in Beautiful Central Oregon!) for me.

Columbus day is a sham, he never discovered the america mainlaind, and so doesnt deserve a holiday. I believe it used to be a day off, glad that was changed.

Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas: I enjoy these holidays because they bting my whole family together. Plus all that great food. Hmmmm. Too I enjoy all the activities i get to do with my son. Dyeibg eggs, Easter egg hunts on Easter ( in a few years ill get him ibto the yearly tradition of watching jaws on easter as passed on to me by my dad) giving him presents on christmas is fun too)

Halloween: My favorite holiday because i love candy and i love costumes and scaring people and haunted houses...awesome.

Valentines Day: what can I say, I am a stickler for getting my wife chocolates, jewelry, flowers, and giant greeting cards on valentines to share my love.

St. Patricks Day: Though I understand @JFizzleRaider argument, I'm Irish and I love a day about being Irish and getting drunk ugly.

April Fools Day: pranks are fun. A day full of them is funner

Presidents Day: Nothing like A day off of work and tons of car and matress sales to honor our presidents. But really, I actually barbeque and do presidential trivia.

MLK Day: We wouldn't be where we are today as a society without MLK. He gave his life in the fight for equality of African Americans. Give the man a day.

Memorial, Veterans Day: Two days teo honor our soilders fallen and alive. I'm all for it. We need to take better care of them though, a day isnt enough.

Also, markers for the beginning and end of summer when the pools are open. Plus Barbecue, Barbecue, Barbecue

I know most holidays are just another way to get americans to spend money, but I'm a sucker.

Got to get Flagged on Flag Day (Canadian and US) Christmas (as a commercial venture) is bullshit. The most serious is Memorial and Labor days. There should be a celebration the day SRV was born. 114664355.jpg Wish he was here!
