Leasing is more for businesses.
Some leases have a buyout after the lease is up though. In certain cases it can make sense to lease but not many (tax advantages, etc.).
Normal folk that lease usually do it because they want a new car every 2-3 years. Not for the savings.

Ya but if you you stick with the same dealership most of the time that buyout fee will be waived including your last payment. It's just a way to get you to stick with them.
I was talking more like a buyout to purchase after lease. Like the term lease to own.
Yes so was I. Lots of times if you stick with the same company that fee will be waived including your last payment of the lease and sometimes even the last couple payments.
I pay cash for my cars.
