Dang, I thought I left Atlanta to get away from the heat!

I'm thankful that the house we're renting has a/c.

You chose Washington, so don't blame US Oregonians.

Hmmm....here I had thought proverbial mason-dixons only existed in the south.

no way dude, the couv are the backwater cousins of oregonians. Too cheap to pay our income tax and too cheap to pay their own sales tax.

I'm actually considering moving up there after college for those very reasons. :dunno:

I work in Oregon. Trust me, I'm paying. ;)

fair enough, atleast we're smart about getting our money! I made the mistake of once living in oregon and working in washington. that was the only time to date (that might change this year) I had to pay taxes and not get a refund.

107 tomorrow? Really?!!

As I understand, 107 is an all-time record for Portland for ANY date!

if we're so backwater why the hell are oregonians moving up here every day to get away from your shitty ass schools? we're smart enough to work the system.

Wow. My mom called me to tell me she checked on my house and it was like a blast furnace. She brought in a thermometer, left it in for the day and it got up to 126 degrees inside. The heating/AC system is off and all the windows are closed. I guess the heat had built up over the past week and the house couldn't cool itself off.

Am I the only one that enjoys this weather? I like it - and to me it does not feel humid...
