I mean, this answer is simply outrageous, and it's not the first time he says this:

What do you think this team is missing Dame?

I’m not sure. I’m sure some people will look at it and say, “well this team needs this kind of player and they need that.” But, I’m not sure, because you look around and you say, Golden State won the championship in 2015, they had Steph [Curry], they had Klay [Thompson], Draymond [Green] had a great season. Then they just had really complementary pieces. They just had guys came in and did a little bit of this, a little bit of that, and it was really done by committee. I honestly feel that our team is capable of something like that, so it’s hard for me to say.

Look, I'm not saying he should have said that we suck and we are missing two superstars, but at least he should have the decency to stop comparing himself and the roster to future Hall of famers and a team that was for the ages.

He really has no clue of the reality, that's another reason why I'm not confortable with him leading the franchise.

Listen brother, I've never acknowledge you, or replied to you on here before. Here's the thing, you are up in here for one reason and it's to voice your opinion about your favorite team just like everybody else, right? It's the way you are doing it. You just come out blasting as soon as you get a random thought in your dome. You start a thread for every opinion you have. You are kinda' the BiazarroJinxSpeed.
Like I said, to each his own. Why don't you start one master thread that is just for you to add to whenever you come up with these great takes. Instead of clogging up the main page with a ton of threads like the Jinx does. Doesn't mean you can't still voice your well thought out takes, it just makes this site easier to navigate.
Seems like a fair request, unless your plan IS to stir shit up. What do you think?

As far as your original post about Dame, he is simply saying we need better complimentary players and wasn't wanting to call out any of his teammates is what it looks like to me.

Do you have any contact with reality? Who else on our current roster, or that we can realistically get, would you be more comfortable with leading the franchise.

You see, that's the problem with all the doom and gloom anti-fans that only show up and start stupid trolling threads when the team struggles. They post about how much they want Stotts fired, Olshey gone, C.J. traded, and now apparently Dame out, too, but never offer a single viable alternative.

Tell us who specifically you want as our leader and how we can realistically get them, otherwise crawl back under your rock.

In Regular season, then in the playoffs they kick our ass as always.

Only a troll can compare our trio to the one in Golden State.

You don't seem to understand the meaning or specifically or realistically.

We currently have the 24th pick in the draft. What player will be available with the 24th pick that you would prefer as our team's leader over Damian Lillard? If the player you think will be better than Lillard won't be available then, tell us specifically how we realistically move up to get them. Time to put up or shut up.

I've had a pretty rough and interesting last 2 weeks. One night was spent in a sleeping bag in PDX. I literally almost called SPD, because if anyone's up playing poker at 1am in Portland, it's him. Family health issues (now taken care of), taking care of baby while Momma was down, extended business trip, masters' papers, Church Small Group leadership stuff. All good, but I didn't get to see or do much outside of that. Appreciate asking, though. :)

Nice wins....although I would submit the Warriors treat the Playoffs a bit differently than the regular season against the Blazers. There they have won 8 of 9, right?
 
I think that Damian is not happy bout this outcome but a leader that believe in himself and his team is something that's actually good. You prefer him to say what? "Fuck it. I'm done, all my teammates are crap."?
And I don't know TBH, cos I don't have much time to follow other teams, but this Golden State team came out kind of out of the blue, so Damian might be actually rite;)
 
Why is everyone making so much about the exit interviews?

Dame won't go out there and throw his teammates/coaches/GM in front of the bus. He's one of the most rational and calculated people out there. And he's calm and balanced in the face of adversity unlike most of his other teammates.

It's why he's such a great leader.

Loved hearing about your positive endeavors, especially the one about the Church activity.

Oh, by the way, I see the Bush family is also Episcopalian.
 
People do realize that he's not going to say negative stuff right?

That, ironically, is the reality. So someone has to find it, I just don't think it's Lillard.

Back under a rock was not over the top. At all. You just haven't been around for the last couple of years.

This guy... AKA Tunchi and a few other moniker names, has been banned and is a blatant troll. Telling him to go back under the bridge would have been too kind.

I gave this guy an ultimatum in the positivity thread as well and he just dissappeared. Instead of answering my questions, he turned around and made this thread instead.

Ban this sorry ass post of a POS.

I do not believe him to be a fan at all. Or he would get happy when we win good games like the rest of us.

Instead he is a troll simply looking to stir the pot at any chance he can get.

Seriously. EVERYONE just needs to ignore him so he can "converse" with himself on here.....
