I was watching Hardball last night and Chris Matthews was going off about how he supported both the Yankees and the Red Sox because his friends (mostly from media and politics) were from NY and Boston. Now that his Phils are in the WS, his "elite" friends aren't returning the favor.

In other words, he just railed against unfair treatment by the media elite. I found the irony hilarious.
