I'm pretty sure everyone in the NCAA is in on the payoff. You now have universities that exist because of their sports teams.

I've told this story before, but my bosses brother sells stuff to university athletic departments across the country. When he goes to Iowa State and places like that the athlete/student's cars have missing doors, rust, bald tires... but the SEC schools it's pretty much BMW's Range Rovers, Lexus...
