Doesn't matter if it was 3 minutes, 3 hours, or 3 days. We we're "in" playoff position after 44 games. Basically, zero national prognosticators thought that would happen.

I think maybe this thread was posted right after the Knicks beat the Jazz, so Utah, who was in the 8th spot to start the day, dropped to half a game behind the Blazers, thereby allowing the Blazers to solely claim the 8th seed, however transient.

Yes, I see it. For 2 1/2 hours, Portland was .432, Utah was .429, and Sacramento was .425. My second post was before midnight, but the opening post already said "Yesterday" so I thought it had been posted a day earlier, but it hadn't been.
