The Nets would get two picks later in the draft, the #21 and #30 picks. One of those picks could turn into Nick Fazekas, the 6'-11" Nevada sharpshooter, says the site. Meanwhile, the Nets and Knicks are planning a secret workout for Sean Williams, the troubled but talented 6'-10" shot blocker from Boston College.</div>

Nick Fazekas would just turn us more perimeter orented and I don't like Sean Williams. I would want to keep the 17th pick so we could get either Tiago Spiltter, Josh Mcoberts, or Jason Smith.

What's the status on Miles Ilic and Nenad Kristic? I thought those two were the future frontcourt for New Jersey, and Josh Boone serving as the backup PF/C.

The Nets seem content on trying to win with the Big 3 still, so I'm not even sure why they even want a draft pick here. I think they would be better suited at dealing it for a veteran who can step right in and play.

How about pursuing someone like Antonio McDyess? Chris Wilcox (Seattle is trying to move him), or even a guy like Melvin Ely might be the answer for New Jersey in the frontcourt.

Remember rookie big men take longer to develop, and the Nets are looking to win now. It doesn't make a lot of sense for them to keep this pick and hope for McRoberts, Smith, or Splitter to pan out.

Mili Ilic is still over seas. Kidd just posted an article about Krstic. He'll be back next season. And Boone has had several minutes in the playoffs because our front court was so thin.

Well Zach Randolph is what we want, but Rod Thorn doesn't want to trade Jefferson for him. I would take Wilcox, but I think that McDyess is getting real old and injuries may be a concern.

Well all we need right now is someone who could give us possibly 10 and 10 every night. We need a good rebounder, a guy who could play in the post, and a solid defender. Unfortunately, Thorn isn't making any moves at this moment.

Well Illic got sent to the D-League in the middle of the season, because he wasn't getting any time on the floor. His game is still undeveloped, and he's just not ready for consistent mins. Until he improves, all he's going to get is garbage mins.

Krstic was injured this season, as you probably know. He was going through rehab the past 2 or so months, and now he's ready to begin working out with the younger guys. We will see where he's at.

We have been attempting to acquire Ely or Wilcox this past season, but never really went through with it. Back when we went for Ely, the Bobcats were willing to pull the trigger for a certain draft pick, which Nets refused. I'm sure that was the same case with Wilcox, when he was playing for the Clippers.

McDyess? I'm not really sure about that, is Detroit looking to move him or something?

I think the Nets have their focus on Randolph, so we'll see what it turns to.
