Old article but still. I used to be a big fan when I was younger, so I'm a bit interested. I'm a bit curious as to how their going to make it all happen.

That's going to be crazy if it is. I wonder how they'll make the beams come out of their hands. Maybe they'll do it Beowulf style. Half live, some 3D.

Apparently there is already a "Dragon Ball" movie in progress. Set to be out in August.

Wow, I loved that Jamie girl from the Real World! Seriously, I'm in love with her and Cameron. Those 2 made that Real World the only one worth watching haha

DBZ used to be the shit until they ruined it with GT. Anyways, I've always been hoping DBZ would make it on the big screen with "real" actors, just from curiosity since I've always been such a big fan. I honestly don't know what to expect from this movie, but I wouldn't be surprised if it turned out to be a cheesy box office flop. But who knows, hopefully they'll put in some cool villans. My favorite is Freeza, but I have no idea how they will work everything out. They'll probably just use a saiyan as an enemy because it'll be easier to act out. Maybe Vegeta and Nappa, or Raditz? The only problem is that those villans were early on in the story, which means no super saiyan transformation
 
On wikipedia, it says its gonna be a Dragonball movie, not a DBZ movie.

If its Dragon Ball, isn't Goku a kid, which Justin Chatwin is not? Anyway, I don't see how Justin Chatwin fits the role of Goku lol.

They should of made the movie every evil character. Like, the last one in DBZ after Super Boo, Raditz, I think his name was. He was awesome. Just have them all together for one huge battle.

Well I've been hearing about a DBZ movie. I'm fully aware of the Dragon Ball movie. I'm probably wrong though.

The only way this movie could be done right was if one of 5 directors did it...

1) Christopher Nolan
2) The Wachoski Brothers
3) Guillermo Del Toro
4) Robert Rodriquez
5) Alfonso Cuaron

Maybe Quentin Tarantino or Sam Raimi...

That's absolutely it though...

That sounds much more interesting and pragmatic to create.
 
I would love for someone to make a Ghost in the Shell live action film or a Fullmetal alchemist live action film.

akira is one of my favorites. cant wait to hear more on both the DBZ movie and Akira.
 
Rurouni kensin, YuYu Hakusho, Naruto, Bleach, Full Metal Alchemist...all anime I'd love to see done in live action in the future...
