Game Thread Ducks vs Michigan State, Friday 6pm / Oregon State vs Colorado St, Saturday 3:30pm

Totally smells like a trap game tonight for the Ducks. Everything is looking forward to next weekend's game with the Buckeyes.... Jonathan Smith is coming in with an Axe to grind and his Spartans have played well in spurts. The Ducks need to take care of business early and soundly and get out with a solid win.

I have no idea what to make of the Beavers this year, but I'm hoping they get the job done Saturday on National TV (hey, the CW *IS* National....)

Why does Johnathan Smith have an axe to grind with a team he didn't coach? Lol

All of Autzen is wearing orange tonight to fuck with J.Smith!! :biglaugh:

Gabriel's bad decisions have turned what could be a 21-0 lead into a 7-0 lead. just turrible

Ducks bettors getting nervous. This has been an awful year for Ducks covering so far after they were a machine last year

Burch on the sidelines with a smirk knowing he solidified himself being a 1st round pick

I was a huge Jordan James fan when he was new and I’m an even bigger fan now.

Definitely an NFL back. Could go down as the Ducks best ever if he stays another year

I like Jordan James too but he'd need to have a couple of all-American level seasons to go down as the best ever Duck RB

LaMichael James
Royce Freeman
Jonathon Stewart
Bobby Moore (Ahmad Rashad)
Reuben Droughns
Kenjon Barner
Onterio Smith
Bucky Irving
Maurice Morris
LeGarett Blount
Jeremiah Johnson
Deanthony Thomas
Dereck Loville

that's a dozen. James might crack the top-10 if, as you said, he comes back next season

I think he could put himself in the conversation. Most those guys had one year where they exploded.

after a rough start to the season, the Ducks are looking like a legitimate top-10 team. Maybe even top-5. I'm not sure they have the cohesiveness needed to win a championship though

I think they would if in the alternate universe, Jackson Powers Johnson, Bucky Irving, Troy Franklin, and Trikweze Bridges had all returned for their senior seasons. Then yeah, that's a definite contender
