Twitter rumor - this is the helmet the Ducks are wearing against Washington.
 
between pink, gold and purple this might double as the Lingerie Bowl.
 
What could be more embarrassing for a team than to lose to a team wearing pink? I like this idea.

Nah won't be embarrasing. The reputation of the color pink is completely different than it was 10 plus yeas ago. I think it is awesome the Ducks are considering wearing the pink helmets, if it is true. As someone who has had family members fight breast cancer, I can only applaud the Ducks move on this one. Very cool.

I've actually really started to like the pink in the NFL uniforms. I dunno why, just seems to accent it in a cool fashion.

Pink as a color has always been associated with Ladies otherwise we'd tie it to testicular cancer rather than breast right? That said, I too applaud the cancer sentiment but in fairness outside of Carlton Banks, Polo and bubble gum, pink is for the women of our lives.

It's done in the NFL and I think we'll be the first as the trend setters we are to do it with a helmet!

I wouldn't at the same time want to change our Green and Yellow in for hot pink for longer than a weekend.

That said and with this rivalry for this weekend, I'M GOOD WITH IT!!!!

I'm actually looking forward to seeing what we wear for this one. I like how the NFL has incorporated pink for breast cancer awareness and I think it would be great if the Ducks did the same.

During Breast Cancer Awareness Month... wearing pink is now the cool thing to do for atheletes.
 
Pink has a soothing effect, and to use it against the puppies will be hilarious
 
Any word on if this rumor is legit or not? Are they wearing these helmets on Saturday?
 
I kinda had a feeling it was false. Pretty much every rumor about what the team is wearing usually turns out to be false.

In a completely unrelated topic, I really wish I could find the current helmet style in a motorcycle helmet. Preferably this bad boy right here. That would be sweeeeet.

I have to admit, I love the Ducks uniforms.

Do they always keep it a secret what color scheme they are going to wear?

What happened to those uniforms that were posted during the offseason with the tied up sweater sleeves around the jersey's neck?

Was that a hoax too? I thought those were actually pretty slick.
