y wouldnt we keep gordon? :/ id take him over danilo</div>

I'm not saying that they won't eventually regret it. I just can't see the Rod Thorn keeping Gordon.

Technically, it won't be Indy drafting at 17, since the trade can't go through until July 1 because of BYC considerations

Funny. I'd keep Galllinari for Portland as well.

I'd also pick Jordan instead of Anderson. If Portland could get Gallinari at 13 and Jordan at 27, and still have Batum and Tomic on the board at the start of the second round, and hopefully still at 33 and 36, I'd faint! I'd still take Feinstein at 55 though.

The mock looks pretty good, Dumpy.

I still don't get what Seattle is thinking, though. They need a point guard.

so the rule is that we add up how many picks we are off for each player, and whoever has the lowest total wins.

There is an issue, though. Should we have a cap on the maximum scores earned by players not drafted in the first round? It seems to me a little unfair that one of us could lose if our projected #30 pick doesn't go until #50 because of some unknown buyout issue, or because every team just wants to take Eurostash in the second round or something like that.

How would you feel if every player selected after the Nets' second round pick (#40, a nice round number) we just rate as if they went at #40? Everything is just totally random after that point, anyway. Thus, we'd limit the potential bleeding of picks predicted at the end of the first round. Thus, by my proposal:

You predict Ryan Anderson to go at #30. He is selcted with the 8th pick of the second round, generating a score of 8.

I predict that Courtney Lee will be taken at #30. He is selected with the 17th pick of the second round, generating a score of 10.

Is that agreeable?

Sure. I have no problem with you making the rules, you're gonna need all the help you can get.

There are some wild smilies on the list.

I think I may opt to reflect Thorn's "insight" on who the Knicks will take.
