When informed that the NBA had admitted that the phantom goal-tending call was incorrect, Durant smirked and remarked, "Tough shit."

This is good. I've been looking for a reason to dislike the guy--this is a start.

durant is the next tracy mcgrady, except he is not as good at the same age as tracy was, fact

I'd say the same thing. I'm sure they've been screwed by bad calls late in games also.

WE ALL DO!

I'm not even talking about his talent. If he really did say this, then that is exactly the kind of cold-blooded bastard I want on this team -- the dude eats, breathes and probably poops (ouch!) basketball.

Not in the last two years when the nba decided they were the new darlings of the league. They get more love from the refs then shaq did when he was on the lakers.

Durant's right, though. It is "tough shit". I'm not even really mad about the call. Bad calls happen in the NBA, and superstars get them. Any poster on this board knows that fact, so being mad about it seems futile, because it's not going to change.

I am mad about that ref who made the call, though, and the glaring question marks behind his reasoning for making that call. After doing just a little bit of research, and seeing how the line moved 3 points in one day to OKC, I'm 99% certain that Foster was in on a fix. The only reason I have 1% uncertainty is because there is no smoking gun, but the circumstantial evidence surrounding the game, and how closely it compares to other statistical anomalies in Foster's past games during the Donaghy season, is such a deviation from the norm that it strains credulity to believe it was just an honest mistake.

I love that mentality coming from a player! JailBlazer Style!

Man, I can't wait for the next two games with the Thunder. I don't have a problem with Durant's answer because each team gets screwed by a bad call from time to time. That said, you get the feeling that there's some genuine dislike between these two clubs. Both games have been really entertaining and I expect that's only going to improve.

I thought we only get one more this year because of the lockout?

I have the same dislike for the Thunder that I used to have for the Sonics!

Shit, none of the JailBlazers ever cared all that much about winning!!

yeah!! That 99-2000 team waltzed their way to a 59-23 record. If Sabas PIP Sheed and the rest had given even the tiniest shit they'd have won all 82. Nobody ever dug deep and played though injury. Great point... repped!

The Jail Blazer era didn't really start until after Pippen and Smitty left PDX. I get your point, though.
