Nets took game 1..76-74..on a jason kidd shot with 1.3 seconds left..okur missed a tip on the buzzer...nets take early 1-0 lead..very close game...pistons just couldn't buy a shot in the 4th....ben was a monster on the boards 23 rebounds.....game 2 on tuesday...i expect detroit to play alot better and win...will see..both teams played badly today.

pretty boring game until the final few minutes. both teams went on long scoring droughts. i still think the nets will win in 5 games. they might even take both games in detroit. i expect corliss williamson to get a lot more minutes because tayshaun is not able to score on jefferson.

Just if Okur had made that shot we could have went to OT. Jason Kidd was clutch, or just really lucky. Rips three pointer that bounced in was sweet.

prince in the preivious series against orlando and phili, he can do whaever he wanted, he comes to nj he chucks up airballls and is block numerus times by kmart..... you will see, tayshawn will be a non factor this series....imo the key factor is billups which imo if he plays long minuits his ankle will be sprained again, he had a sligh scare today i think he should rest untill tues to see if the swelling goes down

Prince isn't bothered by jefferson..his defence isn't that good...prince like all the pistons played like crap today...you have to be stupid to think he is owned by martin/RJ.....

:roll: If that was so...i would be in the NBA and be shutting down players...but guess what it isn't that easy..RJ isn't a very good defender...prince will bounce back in game 2...and score...you seem to forget he is a rookie and in his first ECF...alot was expected...prince will get at least 15+ points on tuesday...
