It is good! I've only been once, the atmosphere was pretty nondescript.

I've been a few times and really wanted to like it, but just didn't. The oysters are too doctored up with spice to really savor the great flavor. I did try frog legs for the first time there.

If oysters are what you seek, I can point you in better directions if you so wish.

I'm kind of an oyster enthusiast if you will.

Best oyster I've had in Portland was at South Park Seafood restaurant. Great place. A little on the spendy side. They serve their oysters with this cold icy mint. To die for.

Bar Avignon is a great place with high quality oysters. They usually have 3 or 4 varieties but they. Change frequently. Great place all around, I've never had a bad dish there. And they have one bartender chick whose awesome in every way, but she's married.
