Yeah you shouldnt have expected to get alot... my friend got like 192 for like his PS2, XBox, 4 controllers for each, a multi tap for PS2, and like 30 games.

I never understood how it works. So you just trade your games in and they buy them off of you? What determines the price of the games?

Yeah, usually they don't give you much for trade-ins. Some stores just give you store credit so you're lucky you even got some money back. I think the best way of getting more money, even though I haven't tried it, would be to sell them on ebay or something. I'm sure that there are plenty of people who look for old games.

Yeah I gave in 17 games and got $35 back those jewbags. But I still play and buy old nba games because of the roster. I still play NBA 2k3 becuase of Michael Jordan and there amzing 80's East team with Patrick Ewing and MJ!

well maybe its cause those are old games...I sold deadrising like a month or 2 after it came out and got $40 from EB.. Sold college hoops got $25 COD3 got $35

You don't make much off eBay either, but definitely better than from EB. Gamestop seems to give you more than EB, but unless it's a new release then don't expect much from either. I just keep my games, I'd rather have them even if I only play them once evry few years then then the few dollars I'd get for them.

They base it off 40% of what they are going to sell it for so a xbox is round $100 so they'll give you $40.For the games they base it of off condition,how old the game is,how popular the game is.I would say finding a person who doesn't have that system and selling it to them for 70% of the value you first bought it for instead of trading it in or selling it on Ebay with all those risks.

Wow, that's pretty bad. I traded in some games long ago to Gamestop, but I don't remember how much I got. They were N64 games, so I think I did okay on that. I remember that I offered to sell gamecube games to them once upon a time, but they were offering next to nothing for them, so I said screw it.

Yeah, its kind of stupid with the lowballing. I have a ps2 with a bunch of games, I think around 15 with 1 controller(lost the other one), 2 or 3 memory cards, network adapter and usb cord. I would probably trade those in or sell it on ebay so I can buy the wii.
