The New York Post reports Eddy Curry, who hasn't practiced since injuring a calf muscle on the first night of training camp, has been cleared to practice and could make his debut next Wednesday in Indiana if all goes well.
Asked about Curry's new weight loss, Knicks coach Mike D'Antoni cracked: "He looks good. I might want to date him."
Turning serious, D'Antoni said, "He looks like he's ready to roll."
Knicks president Donnie Walsh tells ESPN.com's Chris Sheridan that Curry's weight is "way down" from the 317 pounds that Curry weighed at the beginning of training camp, although he refused to attach a specific number to Curry's actual weight.
