So, where has Dr. Jekyl been hiding all season?
Coming off a couple of ugly Dr. Hyde starts, the Edmonton Rush looked like world-beaters in a wild 18-14 win over the Toronto Rock at Rexall Place Saturday night.
Edmonton's 18-goal outburst was their best in franchise history, beating the previous high of 16 in a single game.
"We ran the floor really well," said Rush head coach Derek Keenan. "We added some extra guys to bring more energy. I thought our pressure early in the game was awesome. We created some turnovers and got some transition goals. We need to learn to protect leads better, but at the same time, we kept scoring key goals at key times. It was a good win for us."
It would have been easy for the Rush to have mailed it in, the Colorado Mammoth clinched the last NLL West playoff spot in Denver Friday night when they beat the Calgary Roughnecks, who sat out their top four players.
