Our seven upcoming games are pretty much gimmes:

Rockets
Bulls
at Suns
Timberwolves
at Nets
at Pistons
at Wizards

Those are all winnable. The only game that scares me is the game in Phoenix. But if we pull it off....

Eight Game Win Streak, bitches!!!!

Blazers are a solid road team and the Nets can't guard our starting 5. No team can, actually.

have you been watching the blazers, or?

Yes. Beat the Mighty Lakers and shutdown the best player in the league IN Houston. There were a few games we should've won. We should be 6-2 right now.

I think 5-3 would be quite reasonable. You do know Chicago is very good, right? Also the Pistons have just turned it around, the Nets have real talent, Scola always gives Aldridge fits, the Wolves are like zombies... All I'm saying is we should prepare for your mood to swing massively the other way.

But yes, if we don't beat the Wizards, we really are shit.

the other teams will likely forfeit the night before, so they will be getting extra practice sessions in

ring the bell, boys! ring that goddamn bell!

Do you mean 4-3 or 5-2 or are you including the Kings game like I am?

Lillard top 5 PG in this league
Matthews top 5 shooter top 5 defender
Batum best SF in league
Aldridge top 5 PF
Hickson top 5 rebounder

if hickson focuses more on scoring instead of irrelevant rebounds we could have 5 20ppg scorers

Among players who have shot more than 40 three pointers, Wesley Matthews is 2nd in 3ptFG%.

Batum is third in steals

blazers have two of top 19 Scorers. Three other teams have that: Heat, Thunder, and Lakers (good company)

our bench has the fewest turnovers per game in the entire nba!

Eric I love you....... but this is why you create these doomsday end of the world threads as well. You just set yourself to be let down. Why can't you look at this next 8 games realistically?

Much better thanks....... quit trying to be nice to me :)

How about 8 entertaining competitive games.

I'm getting much more enjoyment out of watching these fast-paced games than Roy iso-ball that dominated the previous 4-5 seasons. Win or lose, the Blazers are putting on a show, let them learn and grow with each other this year, perhaps getting a decent draft pick and improve the god awful bench, then worry about 8 game winning streaks next year.

2-5 over the next stretch and I'll be happy, no need to win this year, prepare for the future. Enjoy the growth!

Oh, and HCP- do you know what the NBA policy is on who the broadcast team is for league pass? I swear 80% if not higher is for the other team, I miss my Mike and Mike!

For the life of me I've been trying to figure out the reasons for who gets the coverage rights, seems like it should be the home team, but that doesn't seem to be the case. Thanks for any help!

It used to always be the home team's broadcast feed up until about 2 years ago. Now it makes no sense....... home/visitor? Some intern back at NBA Entertainment just picks one or the other. If you are lucky enough to have the league pass and NOT live in Portland, they give you the option of watching either or........except on NBATV when it's the luck of the draw.

Are we actually scoring more in the post "NATE-BALL" era?

What did my boys say? 8-0?

I didn't listen, but that's what I'd expect them to say (or some sort of serious overestimation). Love them, but it'd be par for the course as far as their "opinions" go.

You didn't like it when we were winning? When we had a go to guy who could close games for us. When we would blow out teams by 40 points and get tied for the 5th best record in the league with a high point differential? We didn't run Roy isos on every play but he was a nice weapon to have. The last truly entertaining Blazers basketball game was Game 4 vs Dallas when Roy led us back from 23 down. Nowadays, we come back from 23 down but then blow it at the end. We did that all last season too.

Learn the game before posting. You can't be serious.

Does anyone else take pride in the fact that a bonafide TV celebrity takes the time to troll our little community?
