Bryan earns second title of 2016 at El Bosque Mexico Championship
Wesley Bryan takes over the No. 1 spot on the Web.com Tour money list with his victory at the El Bosque Mexico Championship presented by INNOVA. Bryan fired a final-round 67, good for a four-stroke victory over Richy Werenski (66) and 54-hole leader Brad Fritsch (73). Bryan’s 19-under-par 269 total was just two shy of the tournament record set by Jarrod Lyle in 2008.
“God, it feels amazing,” said Bryan, who picked up a check worth $117,000 to lock up his PGA TOUR card. “To wrap it up this early in the season is incredible.”
