But that wouldn't shut Trump up. See, e.g. Obama's birth certificate.

You do realize that the entire controversy was started by the Clinton campaign, dont you?

As far as warren, she is a goof. As stated elsewhere, a DNA test would prove or disprove her story.

Which, the birther, or the native american? And whichever one you think it is, why would that matter?

As stated elsewhere (namely in the post you replied to) proof doesn't matter when you are willing to ignore it and keep lying.

As soon as someone directly refutes something you said, you simply reply "why does it matter"?

I guess that's one way to debate.

I guess you don't know the meaning of the word refute. You should look it up.

Trump complains about the past because it is easy to criticize a politician who no longer has a pulpit or power position. He complains about the present so he can re affirm his Power position. Its easy for a self centered human to be impressed with his own criteria. Convincing the American people he is Their Leader, is his most colossal undertaking.

Seen that way too many times.

Why would that even matter?

Because communication requires the use of a shared language. Misusing words makes it harder for people to understand what you are saying.

If you have any followup questions, I'd be happy to answer.

Or smokem peace pipe with Pocahantas.

If I need any thinly-veiled insults that completely avoid the subject at hand, or irrelevant attacks on my credibility, I will be sure to ask you a question barfo.

Words like Birth Certificate, for instance? :dunno:

Back to the OP, it seems the very definition of a nothingburger. I mean, I see two potential outcomes:

1) It shows some "acceptable" percentage of native american DNA that shows that she really is of the minority status that has allowed her special benefits throughout life, and allows for her to continue taking the "high road" in bashing those who want to curtail immigration and the like. Status quo.
2) It doesn't show some "acceptable" percentage of native american DNA, @tlongII is right on the money and no one will change their opinions of her one way or the other. Status quo.

While it's true a lot of people can trace some ancestor who was a native American, they do consider "dilution" (for back of a better term) of the "blood." At 1/16th Indian "blood," you still qualify for assorted benefits. Beyond that, you're not considered "Indian" anymore.

The problem for Warren will be the Democrats who run against her. They will surely bring up her deceit and her spin once called on it.

How did that work for Bernie, though?
