Seriously, how long will management hide his status from us?! :MARIS61:

I don't know. The longer they hold out on this information, the more I'm thinking it's a season ending ACL tear.

My insider source says they've been asleep most of this time... the front office is sleeping on the job!

I guess that helps the Blazers when it comes to contract time this summer 🤦

He is having an MRI today. I heard he was walking without much of a limp after the game. Maybe HCP can confirm.

Not that this is a true indication of how bad an injury is, but Batum was quoting saying the pain was a 5/10.

Thank gosh we didn't give him some 4 year 40 million deal!

A torn ACL (if that's what it is) isn't a death sentence ... but it wouldn't surprise me to have yet another guy with a bum knee on this team.

It also wouldn't surprise me if he was out 2.5 years-to-retirement with a bum knee.

How sad is it that Blazer fans can say this with a straight face.

*sigh*

It feels like this team is going back into the shit house, where we were from 2002-2006.

Hmmm still no official news? I was hoping I wasn't correct about the ACL tear but the longer we go without hearing news the more likely they're confirming the bad.

That'd be true of course if all our games were on the road. Thankfully we'll win again tomorrow and the panic can take another pause.

MRI confirms Nic Batum w/ left knee bone contusion. He's out for Wed. v Char. Listed day to day and will be re-evaluated later this week.

Looked a lot worse then that! We got lucky on this one!

Hopefully this means more PT for Elliot and not Luke. Who do you guys think Nate will go with?

I think that's pretty likely. Wesley will probably take up some minutes at SF, which means Elliot should get some run at the SG spot.

I ought to be a doctor since I called this immediately.

Said it's still a little sore. Won't play vs Charlotte and Sac...... day to day after that. Great news!
